The Redwoods Homeowners Association

Welcome to the The Redwoods Homeowners Association website!

Your HOA Board of Directors and Property Manager are working hard to make The Redwoods the best it can be. Be sure to check back often to see the latest updates.

Important Reminders

The Redwoods Rules and Regulations do not permit short term rentals of 30 days or less. Companies like AirBnb, VRBO, or similar, who offer short term rentals, should never be used.

We are finding more and more people violating our "72 hour parking rule." Please make sure you are moving your vehicle every 72 hours to a completely DIFFERENT open parking space. Driving it around the complex and parking in the same open space does not count. Our parking enforcement company is cracking down on violators. You will be towed at your own expense. Enforcement is done from 6pm to 6am every night.

Also, all dogs are required to have their DNA registered with the Front Office within 72 hours of moving onto the property. If you have not registered your dog yet then please do so as soon as possible.

Vendors are not allowed on our property. If you see someone selling ANYTHING, please ask them to leave or take a photo and send it to the front office. We will make a police report with Santa Ana Police Department.

*Per the CC&R's and bylaws, please remember you are required to have insurance for your condominium. Make sure you have the proper coverage and you're not under-insured.

Newsletter and Important Information

We are attempting to get as much information as possible out to all homeowners (on site and off site) and all renters in the complex. Along with our monthly newsletter, we have been sending out a mass email that includes even more important information and reminders that will help you while you reside at The Redwoods. If you would like our monthly email, please make sure Sarah at the front office has your current email and she will add you to our mailing list. Your email will not be made public.

To better distribute the monthly updates, your Board of Directors will be experimenting with a "QR Code." This technology has been around since 1994, but has seen record usage since the Covid epidemic. (Many restaurants have done away with paper menus altogether and rely on the use of QR codes to allow customers to view their menu directly on their phones.) To learn more about QR codes click here. We intend on posting our QR code in the kiosk at the front office and in all 4 laundry rooms. The QR code will point to this website and will look like this:

Caution Needed

We want to remind you that it is your responsibility to keep your vehicle(s) secure. In addition to keeping your vehicle locked and not having any valuables visible, you should also think about purchasing a car alarm, locking lugs for your tires, and/or a steering wheel lock. All of these will discourage a potential criminal. We are aware of the isolated problems and are adjusting our guard accordingly. "If you see something, say something!"

New Email Address

Our new HOA email address is REDWOODSHOA01@GMAIL.COM. Please check your SPAM/JUNK folder if you don't see any of our emails in your Inbox. We continue to email all residents of the Redwoods (that have given us permission) important information that we feel should get out to all residents as soon as possible. If you have a question, please continue to contact Sarah at (714) 541-8638 or REDWOODSHOA01@GMAIL.COM

Clubhouse Gym

Please be respectful:
1. Do not DROP the weights on the ground. They damage the mats and startle the on-site manager below.

This is your gym, so please take care of it. We hope you enjoy the gym as much as we do. Please follow CDC recommendations at all times. If you have any suggestions for the cardio or weight rooms, please let the on-site manager know. Yearly membership is only $50.

Parking Enforcement

To allow parking for our Redwoods residents, parking will be strictly enforced from 6pm to 6am every night.

Our Parking Enforcement Company is Pacific Coast Patrol (714) 463-4491

Remember, you are allowed just ONE warning citation within a 30 day period. If you get another citation, you are immediately towed at the owners expense. GET A PARKING PERMIT!

We are towing vehicles that are double parked. If you need to park your car to run to your home for a few minutes, that's fine, simply put on your flashers. But if our parking detail sees you are still there 20-30 minutes later, you will be towed, especially if you don't have a parking permit. It is your responsibility to let your visitors know the rules of the complex. PARK ON FRUIT STREET!

The Next HOA Meeting
